Professional qualification or certification in Massage Therapy and/or Tuina Therapy from a recognised institution

Proven experience delivering massage and Tuina treatments in a therapeutic or healthcare setting

Strong knowledge of TCM principles, meridian systems, and therapeutic techniques

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make clients feel comfortable and at ease

Physical stamina and dexterity to perform hands-on therapeutic treatments throughout the working day

Proficiency in basic client management and record-keeping

A commitment to maintaining professional standards of hygiene and safety

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Provide professional massage therapy and Tuina (Chinese massage) treatments to clients, customising sessions based on individual health needs and conditions

Conduct thorough client consultations to understand medical history, current health concerns, and treatment objectives

Apply TCM principles and techniques to deliver therapeutic treatments that promote healing and wellbeing

Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment plans and progress notes

Ensure the massage therapy room is clean, hygienic, and properly prepared before and after each client session

Educate clients on post-treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and preventative health practices

Work collaboratively with other practitioners and healthcare professionals within the centre to provide integrated care

Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat bookings and client retention

Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards, as well as professional ethical guidelines
