Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of quantity surveying principles, construction drawings, and measurement techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD, CostX, Glodon, or other QS software is an added advantage.
- Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Eager to learn, proactive, responsible, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a significant advantage for communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, quotations, tender documents, and other commercial documentation.
- Support the preparation of progress claims, variation orders (VO), final accounts, and project cost monitoring under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, subcontractor quotations, and material pricing for tendering and procurement activities.
- Maintain proper filing of contracts, claims, project records, and attend site visits or project meetings to gain practical exposure to construction operations.
- Perform administrative and commercial support duties as assigned by the Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor, or Management to support successful project delivery.
