Requirements
Secondary or high school diploma; a qualification in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management is an advantage
Demi Chef de Partie and Demi Chef (Pastry): at least 2 years' experience in a high-volume hotel, restaurant or pastry operation
Chef de Partie: at least 3 years in a main production kitchen plus 2 years in a supervisory role at a cruise line or high-volume hotel/restaurant
HACCP certification and knowledge of USPH food-safety standards
Strong cooking technique and knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools
Fluent in English
Willing to work and live onboard on a 6-month contract
Open to Malaysian and Singaporean applicants
Responsibilities
Prepare all assigned food and pastry items to recipe, presentation and temperature standards
Portion, chop, mix and store ingredients so dishes are ready for service
Check that provisions received match the requisition and report any discrepancy
Keep the galley area clean, tidy and sanitised in line with HACCP and USPH standards
Operate kitchen equipment and machinery safely and report any maintenance needs
Chef de Partie: run the assigned galley section, supervise and train crew, and minimise food wastage
Support other galley sections when required to keep service running
