Requirements
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery across all departments including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and groundskeeping.
Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive and memorable stay at Paradise Valley.
Support the management team in training and developing junior staff, fostering a culture of service excellence and teamwork.
Assist in monitoring and managing departmental budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Contribute to the planning and coordination of events and activities hosted at the resort, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
Participate in sales and marketing initiatives to promote the resort's offerings and attract new guests.
Support the oversight of property maintenance, reporting any issues and assisting in coordinating repairs to ensure the resort is well-maintained and safe.
Gain practical experience in various aspects of hotel operations management through hands-on involvement and mentorship.
Communicate effectively with guests and staff in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to cater to a diverse clientele.
Learn and apply principles of customer service excellence, staff training and development, budget management, event planning and coordination, sales and marketing, and property maintenance oversight in a real-world hospitality setting.
Responsibilities

Participate in staff training sessions, assisting in the onboarding of new employees and reinforcing service standards and operational protocols.
Aid in monitoring departmental budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
Assist in the planning and coordination of small-scale events or activities hosted at the resort, ensuring all logistical aspects are managed effectively.
Contribute to marketing efforts by assisting with social media updates, promotional material creation, and guest feedback collection to enhance the resort's online presence and reputation.
Support the maintenance team by reporting any property issues, ensuring the grounds and facilities are well-kept and presentable to guests.
