Requirements
Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner, managing the reception area to ensure a clean and organized environment.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage the appointment book, and handle cancellations or rescheduling efficiently.
Register new patients, collect and update patient information, including insurance details and medical history, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members.
Process patient payments, manage billing inquiries, and prepare daily financial reports.
Maintain patient records, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and stored securely in compliance with privacy regulations.
Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and managing office supplies.
Provide information and basic education to patients regarding dental procedures, appointment preparation, and post-treatment care as directed by the dental team.
Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards patients, particularly those who may be anxious or in discomfort.
Collaborate effectively with dentists, dental assistants, and other team members to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent service delivery.
