Language Mastery: Near-native fluency in at least two of the three required languages (English, Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu).

• Experience:Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience inSimultaneous Interpretation (SI) for international conferences or corporate events.

• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Translation and Interpretation, Linguistics, or a related field is highly preferred.

• Mental Stamina: Ability to maintain high levels of concentration and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Professionalism:Strict adherence to theCode of Ethics for interpreters, including confidentiality and neutrality.

• Simultaneous Interpretation: Deliver instantaneous oral translation during keynote speeches, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions using SI equipment (Bosch system).

• Accuracy & Nuance: Accurately convey the meaning, tone, and spirit of the speaker without omission or distortion, especially technical terms or cultural nuances.

• Booth Partnership: Work closely with a booth partner, alternating every 20–30 minutes to maintain peak mental focus and interpretation quality.

• Preparation & Research: Conduct thorough research on the event topics, provided materials, and terminology lists prior to the event date.

• Relay Interpretation: (If applicable) Perform "Relay Interpretation" by listening to another interpreter’s feed and translating it into a third language for the assigned channel.

• Equipment Coordination: Collaborate with the on-site technical team to ensure headsets, microphones, and consoles are functioning correctly before the session begins.
