TX's work involves assessing and driving emerging technologies through three phases - investigate, pilot, adopt. You will work with a team of technologists and prototype developers to leverage the best that technology has to offer for tourism and STB. You will work with the team to engage in rapid prototyping, user testing, stakeholder engagements to help STB and industry leverage emerging technologies to improve visitor experience or enable productivity gains.
1. Strategise STB’s approach for emerging technologies:
You will be required to explore new technologies to assess their relevance to the tourism sector. Through conducting research, prototyping and stakeholder engagement, you will formulate what should be STB's strategy and approach towards the new technology (e.g. monitor, trial or accelerate), and identify potential use cases for tourism companies. Emergent technologies which have presently been identified are Extended Reality (XR) and GenerativeAI (GenAI).
