This is client facing role and you are expected to be the key point of contact for your clients.
You should be able to advise them on their current coverage and renewal dates, how to understand renewal insurance comparisons, their regulatory and contractual insurance requirements, appropriate coverage for their nature of business, and next steps when there is a claim.
You are expected to be able to manage insurers directly to get coverage placed including negotiating quotes with multiple insurers, doing up an accurate and detailed comparison of insurers' quotes, handling their queries for information, following up with them on any post-sales documentation and administrative processes including claims or endorsements from clients.
