How success looks like
Success in this role is based on ability to execute basic lab experiments accurately, on time, with excellence, and able to communicate the results/ observations with team members. With enough time and training, it is expected that the Technical Specialist would require minimum supervision to perform his/her work.

Work closely with fabric suppliers to understand their strengths and weaknesses, improving their capabilities and build strong working relationships
Present seasonal trend fabric forecasts and recommend potential new materials, technologies etc that can align with the company's strategies and price/quality requirements
Update relevant teams on market and industry information and provide important market intelligence to draw up the most suitable action plans for the company

Establish data link across the supply chain to enhance end to end transparency.
Manage and lead traceability program in collaboration with key functions within the company and our suppliers to identify scope, risk and challenges, the information and data required to manage the risk, provide solutions and validate the outcome.
Ensure optimal traceability methodology to meet US regulatory and customer requirements.

Oversee the daily operations of fabric development, fabric yardage and color requests to mills/ vertical vendors, fabric sourcing and bulk production

Provide technical support with customer on print developments
