Job Description:
- Handle all site material and diesel purchases based on requests from site teams.
- Source and compare supplier quotations, negotiate prices, and issue Purchase Orders (PO).
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to site and follow up with suppliers.
- Check and record Delivery Orders (DO) and verify items received.
- Maintain a list of approved suppliers and evaluate their performance.
- Manage purchase records and assist with invoice checking for payment processing.
- Work closely with site and accounts teams to ensure smooth purchasing flow.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in purchasing (infrastructure construction)
- Familiar with construction materials, suppliers, and negotiation process
- Able to handle sourcing, quotation, and purchase orders efficiently
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
