Job description

Position Objective:

To carry out corrective repair, preventive maintenance and maintaining of equipment and machine to minimize downtime and achieve Company’s objective.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

a) Carry out routine maintenance of equipment and machine through routine checks and necessary steps like topping up of oil and lubrication, change of dies etc.

b) Perform fundamental repairs and trouble-shooting of equipment and machines.

c) Increase equipment/machine uptime and reduce maintenance expenditures.

d) Carry out equipment and process set-ups.

e) Carry-out predictive and preventive maintenance activities.

f) Upgrade skills and knowledge to be able to understand electrical/electronic and mechanical principles and its usage.

g) Work together with production and other departments to support Department’s activities.

h) Adhere to procedures that promote safety, health and welfare of employees and contractors.

i) It’s your responsibility to take reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work and to cooperate with the Company on its safety policies & programmed besides complying with any instruction and measure on occupational safety

Performance Measures and Standards:

a) Compliance to all ISO/safety and health and related laws and regulations.

b) Able to trouble-shoot, perform routine checks, setups and dies changeover

c) Machine downtime

d) Housekeeping and 5S

e) Number of work-related accidents and injuries

• At least 3 years of working experience in machine maintenance, facility maintenance or the related field is required for the position.
• Diploma in electrical engineering or mechatronic.
