Job Purpose:


  • Responsible for formulating and executing a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives. This role focuses on expanding market presence, and cultivating strategic partnerships, all while ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards.



Job Responsibilities:


  1. Serve within the Industrial & Logistics Development Division (ILD) under Township Development, supporting the company's industrial asset growth objectives.
  2. Report directly to the Head of Business Development.
  3. Execute the recurring income strategy through industrial leasing initiatives.
  4. Drive leasing activities for industrial assets including prospecting, client engagement, lead qualification, negotiations, and deal closure to maximize occupancy, revenue generation, and long-term value creation.
  5. Oversee the strategic planning, development, and execution of business development and marketing initiatives for industrial assets and projects.
  6. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of market trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and industry developments to identify business opportunities and develop strategic insights.
  7. Identify key target markets, prioritize growth sectors, develop qualified leads, and manage prospects through structured sales funnel management.
  8. Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.
  9. Develop, prepare, and periodically review the effectiveness of marketing and sales collateral, presentations, proposals, and promotional materials.
  10. Engage directly with prospective clients, investors, brokers, and strategic partners to understand their requirements and identify suitable solutions and opportunities.
  11. Collaborate with development, investment, operations, finance, and marketing teams to formulate customized client proposals, business cases, and feasibility-driven solutions.
  12. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, key stakeholders, industry partners, government agencies, consultants, and business networks to support business growth.
  13. Plan, manage, and monitor marketing resources and budgets, ensuring alignment with approved business plans and organizational objectives.
  14. Develop and present periodic business development strategies, market intelligence, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior management.
  15. Organize and participate in seminars, webinars, roadshows, networking events, and industry engagement activities to promote the Group's industrial offerings and strengthen market visibility.
  16. Lead, mentor, and support team members while ensuring effective execution of business development initiatives, maintaining accurate records, improving operational processes, and performing any other duties assigned by Management.



Job Dimension (Impact & Accountabilities):


  • Responsible to secure annual Asset Under Management (AUM) of RM************* mil per year



Educational/Professional Qualification:


  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Business Administration/Finance/Property Management/Engineering & Technology or any relevant qualification in industrial property development


Professional Experience:


  • Min 5 years working experience in Industrial Business Development/Real Estate/Property Management/Technology Consultant or any relevant experience in property development.
