Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain project QA/QC procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.
- Lead and oversee all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities throughout the construction phase.
- Supervise inspectors and monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
- Maintain daily inspection records and update inspection status reports.
- Attend client meetings, project progress reviews, and subcontractor coordination meetings to address quality-related matters.
- Liaise with clients on project quality issues and ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct project quality audits in accordance with the approved quality plan.
- Prepare and submit QA/QC reports as required by management and clients.
- Manage QC claims, documentation, and related records.
- Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of QC data in the database system.
- Monitor testing activities and maintain proper, up-to-date quality records and documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related course.
- Experience in high-rise building construction will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of QA/QC processes, inspection procedures, and construction quality standards.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willing to be based on-site in Medini, Johor.
