A Facility Technician maintains and upkeeps physical buildings, equipment, and grounds. They are responsible for troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems, executing preventative maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, and managing external vendors.
Core Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Routinely inspect, service, and test facility equipment to prevent sudden breakdowns.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems.
- Vendor Management: Supervise external contractors and technicians during major repairs or servicing.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure the premises meet local building codes, fire regulations, and occupational safety standards.
- General Upkeep: Perform ad-hoc handyman duties, including lighting replacements, painting, and minor carpentry. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
