Responsibilities

• Support and oversee the transport safety inspection programme, ensuring that operational teams, fleet owners, and vendors perform their required inspections, while HSE conducts periodic verification audits for compliance and effectiveness.
• Perform driver engagement activities including coaching, toolbox briefings, in‑vehicle behaviour reviews, and telematics performance assessments.
• Support incident reporting and investigations for road accidents, near misses, vehicle damage, and transport‑related non‑conformities.
• Monitor vendor fleet compliance including audits, safety documentation checks, vehicle permit validation, and adherence to DHL transport safety standards.
• Ensure transport safety documentation is properly maintained by operations and vendors — including journey management plans, DG compliance records (if required), telematics reports, and statutory documents — through periodic HSE verification and audits.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years experience in transport safety, fleet management, vendor safety, or road safety compliance.
• Posses good understand and knowledge on HSE regulatory/ legal compliance in Malaysia is an advantage.
• Established capability in doing root cause analysis / problem solving.
• Knowledge on OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001.
• Well-versed with the MHEs operation in technical knowledge.
• Have a good facility and equipment maintenance background.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office to analyze data, produce reports and deliver presentations.
