Job Description

1. Perform 100% inspection, and sampling inspections (based on AQL or other plans) of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods as per defined work instructions, acceptance criteria and control plans.

2. Operate various precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometres, jigs, optical comparators, hardness testers) to verify dimensional and functional specifications.

3. Accurately interpret inspection standards, drawings, specifications, and quality standards to make informed acceptance or rejection decisions.

4. Evaluating and inspecting products, processes, and materials to ensure they conform to customer and internal specifications.

5. Clearly identify, tag, and segregate non-conforming products to prevent inadvertent use or shipment.

6. Initiate and document non-conformance reports (NCRs) for defective items.

7. Escalate critical or doubtful quality issues immediately to the QA Supervisor or QA Manager for resolution.

8. To ensure accuracy and quality are monitored to avoid customer complaints on quality issues, packing issues, or delivery-related issues.

9. Accurately record all inspection data and results in check sheets, quality reports, and logbooks.

10. Maintain clear and traceable records of inspections performed and decisions made.

11. Wear proper attire and PPE before conducting any work.

12. Adhere to safety rules, operating procedures, and work instructions at all times.

13. Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the work area.

14. Other assignments as directed by the immediate superior.

Job Requirement

Education

1. SPM / O Level / SKM Level 1 / SKM Level 2 / SKM Level 3 or Equivalent

Experience

1. Minimum 1 year of working experience as a QA Inspector in manufacturing environment.

2. Able to read & write.

3. Able to use measuring equipment such as digital caliper and hardness tester.

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
