A leader in the market for public housing glazing works, we are looking for a reliable, motivated and analytical individual who excels at problem solving to join our team as an Engineering Assistant.

In this role, your main responsibilities are:

1. Plan and prepare production work orders

2. Prepare, issue and follow up purchase orders to suppliers

3. Schedule and carry out preventive maintenance of machinery

4. Liaise with vendors for quotation, troubleshooting and repair of machinery

5. Manage inventory of materials and machine parts

6. Review and disposition of product quality issues

7. Investigate quality escapes, produce defect reports and propose preventive measures

To succeed in this role, you should have:

· Minimum Higher NITEC qualification in Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

· Two years’ relevant working experience preferred but fresh graduates with engineering background are welcome to apply

· Ability to understand mechanical, pneumatic and electrical drawings

· Experienced in using workshop tools and equipment

· Good command of written and spoken English

· Competence in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
