Application Support Executive / System Analyst

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Executive / System Analyst to support enterprise application platforms and ensure smooth delivery, maintenance, and enhancement of business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, perform gap analysis, and assess application impacts and solution requirements.
• Support project and solution delivery aligned with business and technology strategies.
• Manage and execute implementation activities for supported applications and systems.
• Conduct and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide application support and maintenance for enterprise platforms.
• Troubleshoot system/application issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Monitor system health, stability, and performance to ensure SLA compliance.
• Recommend and implement system improvement initiatives to reduce incidents and improve performance.
• Collaborate with business users, vendors, and technical teams for issue resolution and enhancement activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in application/system support or software development roles.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, and incident resolution skills.
• Good understanding of system architecture, data flow, and application interaction.
• Experience with programming technologies such as Java, HTML, and related components.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database systems.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing SIT and UAT activities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting enterprise or financial service applications.
• Exposure to production support and incident management environments.
• Familiarity with system performance monitoring and preventive maintenance practices.
