JOB PURPOSE

1. A CRO is capable of operating DCS, Fire and Gas and ESD systems from Central Control Room.
2. They will optimize the process and reduce and control plant upsets.
3. They will respond effectively to emergencies.
4. They will ensure that plant inhibits, and overrides are controlled as per procedures and Management System guidelines.
5. They will ensure that personnel under their supervision are fully competent and aware of their responsibilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Start up, Operate, Monitor and ShutDown Process and Utility Systems.
2. Monitor, maintain and optimize process parameters (Level, flow, temperature, pressure etc.) within operating requirements.
3. Compare sample and testing results(API/BS &W/salinity) of process and utility fluids to optimal.
4. Troubleshoot to maximize sales quality and delivery volume to identify problems.
5. Maintain discharge water quality within current O &M Contractor Operations or local guidelines.
6. Monitor and operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety and emergency shutdown devices, Fire and Gas Systems.
7. Ensure accurate production reporting is submitted daily or as required by company and client.
8. Witness third party calibrations when appropriate to provide verification of meter factors and volumes.
9. Prove export oil meters.
10. Implementing and enforcing Management System policies and procedures inparticular Isolation Standards, and PTW.
11. Carry out all operations in safe and environmentally sound manner.
12. Report all discharges, leaks, spills, injuries, and incidents, immediately.
13. Ensure personnel understand and comply with current environmental regulations.
14. Carryout Emergency Response role.
15. Assist maintenance operations by applying/removing isolations as required.
16. Superviseoperation of PTW system.
17. Advise maintenance personnel on hazards of plant and equipment.
18. Maintainclear and precise communications during maintenance operations.
19. Coordinate activities and resources across teamsor shift.
20. Contribute to training and assessment of personnel.
21. Control activities and development of subordinate personnel.
22. Record and report on personnel development/appraisals and competence assessments as required.
23. Efficiency improvement and pursue company goals.
24. Create and maintain effective working relationships.
25. EmergencyResponse 1 Carry Out Emergency Response role (See Station Bill).
26. Demonstrate competence in Emergency Response drills and exercises.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. 4 years’ experience in Hydrocarbon processing operations with 1 year as CCRO andappropriate mix of operational and supervisory experience.
2. Offshore Personal Survival, Management of Major Emergencies, Medical certificates.
3. Good level of troubleshooting and operations knowledge including interpretation of P&IDs and C &E charts.
4. Extensive knowledge of offshore FPSO operations, including Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Safety.
5. Goodworking Knowledge of DCS and F &G systems operation.
6. Proficiency in English at a minimum of A2 level according to the CEFR international standard.
7. Medically fit according to The Company GEMS Instruction Health Requirements to Work Offshore.
