A Pizza Chef is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality pizzas while maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen efficiency. They ensure every pizza is prepared according to the restaurant’s standards and customer preferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings
- Cook pizzas using pizza oven / wood-fired oven
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards
- Handle customer special requests and custom orders
- Monitor food stock and kitchen inventory
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist in creating new pizza recipes or menu ideas
- Work closely with kitchen team during busy hours
- Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained
Requirements / Skills
- Experience as a Pizza Chef or kitchen cook
- Knowledge of pizza dough preparation and baking techniques
- Familiar with kitchen equipment and pizza ovens
- Good time management and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food quality
- Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts
Pay: RM13.69 - RM3,500.00 per month
