We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer / Drafter to support our engineering team by creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and designs. In this role, you will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet technical, aesthetic, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers to develop design concepts, specifications, and layouts.
• Create and modify detailed technical drawings using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other industry-standard tools.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
• Prepare and review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company guidelines.
• Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve design issues during the development and manufacturing stages.
• Maintain an organized library of design files and project documentation.
• Prepare design presentations and support the product development process from concept to production.
• Perform design analysis and calculations when necessary.
• Provide input for cost estimates, material selection, and manufacturing processes.

Qualification:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks & AutoCAD).
• Experience with 3D modeling and design drafting.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical drawing standards, and design processes.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to ensure the accuracy of designs and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
