About this role:

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in expanding the company’s presence in the market. You will work closely and build relationships with decision-makers across freight, trading, import/export, and distribution to provide solutions that help strengthen and improve risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within importers, exporters, traders, manufacturers, e-commerce sellers and freight forwarders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Advise and guide clients on cargo risk exposure and insurance solutions.
• Work closely with internal team to structure suitable coverage solutions.
• Drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
• Turn insurance from an afterthought into a business advantage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 1 – 2 years’ experience in logistics / freight forwarding / shipping, or insurance.
• Strong industry connections within logistics or insurance are an added advantage.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Entrepreneurial and hunter mindset.
• Self-driven, proactive and comfortable working in a lean and fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Mandarin.
