Key Responsibilities

1. AI Agent Team Development

Design, develop, and evolve AI agent collaboration frameworks and workflows.

Build AI-driven development pipelines capable of supporting:

Feature development

Automated testing

Code generation

Refactoring

Documentation generation

Development workflow automation

Develop reusable tools, standards, and operational guidelines for AI agent-based engineering practices.

2. Backend & Distributed System Development

Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java and microservices architecture.

Integrate AI automation capabilities with existing:

Backend services

Distributed systems

Data platforms

Messaging systems

Internal engineering tools

Participate in architecture discussions and system optimization initiatives.

3. AI Output Quality Governance

Establish validation and governance mechanisms for AI-generated outputs.

Ensure generated code meets standards for:

Functional correctness

Code quality

Performance efficiency

Security compliance

Maintainability

Implement and integrate:

Code review workflows

Automated testing strategies

Static code analysis

Security scanning

Performance monitoring

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with product managers, architects, developers, QA teams, and infrastructure teams.

Clarify technical requirements, system boundaries, priorities, and delivery timelines.

Coordinate technical solutions across teams to ensure successful delivery and deployment.

5. AI Engineering & Automation Innovation

Research and evaluate emerging AI engineering tools and agentic development technologies.

Continuously improve engineering productivity through AI-assisted workflows and automation practices.

Contribute ideas and best practices for the future evolution of AI-enabled software engineering.

Requirements

Technical Requirements

Minimum 3 years of hands-on Java development experience.

Strong experience with:

Microservices architecture

Distributed systems

Multi-data-source integration

Experience with:

JPA

MyBatis

JUnit

REST API development

Familiarity with databases:

Oracle 11g / 12c

MySQL

Other RDBMS platforms

Strong SQL query writing and optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong passion for system performance optimization and troubleshooting.

Experience identifying bottlenecks across:

Application code

SQL queries

Cache layers

Messaging paths

Distributed services

Interest in AI engineering innovation and automation-driven development methodologies.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM12,500.00 per month
