Job Purpose:
To lead, manage, and coordinate all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works for the projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, project coordination skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with specifications, statutory requirements, and safety standards.
Qualification & Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E works within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, ELV, plumbing, and sanitary systems.
- Preferable experience in the construction of hospital projects is an advantage.
- Familiar with local authority submissions, approvals, and inspections.
- Able to read, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings and technical documents.
- Well-versed in using AutoCAD for technical drawings and layouts.
- Able to work independently, problem-solving skills, and willing to work long hours.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic project management tools.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works for assigned projects from design review through completion.
- Review M&E drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of works.
- Supervise site installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, work progress, and resource planning for M&E works.
- Ensure compliance with local authorities, statutory regulations, and relevant codes/standards (e.g. BOMBA, where applicable).
- Identify design or site issues and propose practical engineering solutions.
- Monitor quality, safety, and workmanship standards on site.
- Review and certify M&E work progress, variation orders, and claims.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical advice and reports to management.
- Any others task as assigned by company from time to time.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
