A civil project engineer plans, designs, and manages construction projects, such as roads, bridges, and buildings. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates with project architects, designers, owners, and field personnel.
- Complete site inspections and audits.
- Responsible for generating Request for Information (RFI) and submittals.
- May be responsible for bid analysis, constructability reviews, and permit processing.
- Inspects all work to assure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Offers technical information to project supervisor to ensure work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
- General understanding of project budget; assist with buyouts.
- Monitor and track project quality control metrics and activities on a regular basis, provide timely and accurate quality reports, and raise issues to Project Manager or Project Director as appropriate.
- Plan and organize construction engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Generation of project punch list and closeout documentation.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
