About the role

Estek Automation Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and talented AI Engineer to join our team based in Batu Kawan, Penang. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in developing state-of-the-art AI solutions that power our cutting-edge automation technology. Your expertise and innovative approach will be instrumental in driving the company's growth and expanding our capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence.

What you'll be doing

• Research, design, and develop novel AI algorithms and models to solve complex business problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our automation products and services
• Continuously enhance and optimise the performance and efficiency of our AI systems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and explore opportunities to implement them
• Document and communicate your work to stakeholders, ensuring the clear understanding of technical concepts
• Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Proven experience of 3-5 years in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in a commercial setting
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or other relevant AI domains
• Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar AI/ML frameworks
• Proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and model deployment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
