Job Title: Software Tester (Manual / Automation Testing)

Location: Malaysia

Job Description:

We are hiring a Software Tester for a banking client in Malaysia. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual and/or automation testing with strong understanding of banking or financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and automation testing for banking applications and digital platforms
• Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test execution reports
• Identify, track, and report defects using testing tools
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
• Ensure application quality, stability, and compliance with project requirements
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support release activities
• Validate APIs, backend systems, and transaction flows where required

Required Skills:

• Experience in Manual Testing and/or Automation Testing
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Experience working in Agile environments

Preferred Skills:

• Banking experience preferred
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar
• API testing knowledge using Postman or similar tools
• SQL knowledge for data validation/testing
• Experience with Jira or similar platforms

Pay: RM2,295.68 - RM6,000.00 per month
