Role Overview
An Oracle ERP Developer builds and supports enterprise resource planning solutions using Oracle technologies. They work closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle ERP modules (Finance, SCM, HR, etc.)
- Design and build reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICE/ CEMLI objects)
- Work with PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and BI tools
- Develop integrations using APIs, web services, and middleware
- Debug and resolve technical issues in ERP applications
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders
- Perform data migration and system upgrades
- Ensure system performance, security, and scalability
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL
- Experience with Oracle ERP systems (EBS or Oracle Cloud ERP)
- Familiarity with:
- Oracle Forms & Reports (for EBS)
- Oracle APEX / Oracle BI Publisher
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Understanding of APIs, REST/SOAP web services
- Knowledge of database performance tuning
Functional Knowledge (preferred)
- Basic understanding of ERP modules like:
- Financials (GL, AP, AR)
- Supply Chain (Inventory, Procurement)
- HRMS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 2–8+ years of experience (varies by role level)
- Oracle certifications (optional but valued)
