We are looking for a reliable and hardworking kitchen staff member to join our team. You will support daily kitchen operations to ensure food is prepared, cooked, and presented to a high standard. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation and cooking according to the menu and recipes
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and hygiene standards
Support chefs with mise en place (ingredients preparation) and plating
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, storage, and equipment
Wash and sanitize utensils, dishes, and kitchen tools as needed
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., proper storage, labeling, FIFO)
Assist with stock receiving, storage, and inventory control
Work as part of the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy hours
Carry out other duties assigned by the Head Chef or Manager
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen, café, or restaurant preferred (not mandatory for junior roles)
Basic knowledge of food preparation and hygiene practices
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Physically fit to handle standing, lifting, and kitchen tasks
