About Our Client

The client is a global multinational organisation specialising in professional equipment and solutions across industries such as food service, hospitality, and laundry. With a strong international presence, the company serves commercial customers through a combination of innovative products and after‑sales support services. The organisation operates a regional finance and operations hub in Malaysia, supporting multiple markets regionally. This hub plays a key role in delivering financial reporting, accounting, and business support services, ensuring standardisation, efficiency, and compliance across the region.

Job Description

  • Accounts payable - assisting in processing and prioritize invoices for payment. Ensuring accuracy and completeness by verifying that all invoices possess proper documentation and approval before processing payments.
  • Accounts receivable - assisting in preparation of self-billing invoices for e-invoicing purposes.
  • Preparing journal entries for the specific entities that you have been assigned to.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Assisting in clearing off backlogs task as assigned by the Assistant Manager.
  • Assisting in compiling documents, supporting information, and schedules for both audit and tax purposes.
  • Engaging in any ad-hoc or new assignments as directed by the Assistant Manager.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent;
  • Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in finance and accounting activities, preferably competent and experienced mainly in AR and AP or reconciliation and reporting functions.
  • Preferably with strong understanding of accounting principles with specific knowledge of how they apply to the service industry.
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office especially Excel and Word.
  • Experience in automation or e-invoicing would be an advantage.
