Possess Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
Previous experience in payroll processing or related roles.
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
The Payroll Specialist will be directly reporting to Human Resources & Admin Manager. Involved in the full cycle of payroll processing such as undertaking payroll calculation, performing payroll reconciliation, preparing payroll accounting and etc. Other responsibilities include monitoring the processing checklist and calendars, maintaining precise documentation, providing data / report for respective statutory filing within the stipulated deadlines.
Collecting and compiling all new employee information including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee status.
Processing payroll, doing employees deduction like benefits contribution, taxes etc.
Respond to employees’ feedback or enquiries regarding their salary and benefits they should receive.
Update payroll record by reviewing and approved changes.
Ensures compliance with local legislation, including tax and social security.
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies and errors.
Supports the development and maintenance of audit procedures and control reports to ensure the accurate processing of payroll.
