Possess Diploma in hotel management or business administration.
Minimum have 2 years working experience in the hospitality industry.
Preferable Mandarin candidate.

As Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager, you are responsible in the frontline/back-line of guest service for consistently meeting differing guest' needs & within your assigned area of responsibility in the Hard Rock Cafe Department in the Hotel that is comprised of the Sales & Marketing section. You direct the procedural and personal dimensions of one or more work process through these subordinates. An increase in personal efficiency and effectiveness is expected when you work as a team with your subordinates, colleagues and superior and achieve common goals and targets. You will:
Excellent in problem solving and able to meet deadlines.
Communicate with Managers to evaluate work procedures, review standards, identify methods for increasing efficiency or effectiveness and respond proactively to any needs that have arisen.
Operates ethically to protect the brand.
Attend meetings and communicate with manager and staff for the events, functions and etc.
Work with Hard Rock Cafe and Kitchen Manager to ensure contract / menu is executable.
Conduct table visits (bar and tables) to build rapport, assess customer satisfaction develop relationships and promote repeat business.
Listen to comments, criticisms, and feedback from customers, employees and other managers to gain an understanding of areas of strength and opportunity to improve personal / restaurant performance to sustain our competitive advantage.
Participate in the budget process.
Write and negotiation sales contracts according to corporate procedure.
Ensure an effective tracing system, monitor production of all accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
Attend buyouts, functions and designated parties to provide support, ensure guest satisfaction and promote future business.
Attend trade shows as approved with corporate Sales & Marketing Department.
Be informed and keep your supervisor informed of all matters that may affect your work, the hotel's service or reputation.
Always present a clean and tidy appearance in accordance with the hotel's grooming standards and be punctual.
Be flexible and open to changes in your job responsibilities and/or roster to meet business needs.
Always extend friendly and caring services to every Guest.
Control cost whilst ensuring the hotel's guests and patrons get value for money while practising energy saving in the department and also around the hotel.
Know your current and potential competitors and monitor their activities.
Understand the hotel's general policies & procedures and align all your personal actions as a manager.
Know your job and continue your self-development by self-directed learning and participation in company sponsored Training Programs, if available.
Assist to create and implement special programmes to achieve greater productivity through:
Increasing business volume during need periods Increasing local food and beverage banqueting sales Increasing revenue for other facilities in the hotel
Coordinate a minimum of 5 sales calls per day and submit the weekly sales report
Co-ordinate all events and functions under your responsibility efficiently and take accountability which includes confirming Banquet Event Order / Group Resume details with clients, Banquet, Reservations, Front Office, Kitchen, Security and any other relevant departments.
Create the artwork of the product or any promotion posters, flyers and etc.
