Resident Architect - Kemaman

To work on site for the purpose of supervising the construction and completion of the project
To work under instruction from Management
To coordinate with Consultant, Clerk of Work, Contractors, Suppliers, and Client
To attend site meetings, progress meeting, design/technical meeting and meetings with statutory bodies as required.
To conduct Technical Meeting regularly in the absent of the Principal / Project Architect
To prepare reports, minutes, schedules, recors, check quantity and quality of work. Regular reporting of finding to all parties. RA to produce summary of Quantity each month (RFI, material, approved memo, site diary etc).
To monitor site progress and Quality control of contractors performance with respect to specified materials, workmanship, and construction details.
To prepare architectural drawings and details as instructed by the Principal / Project Architect.
Administration of daily matters arising between construction managers, consultants and contractor on Architecture elements of work.
To ensure that the Architectural works are executed in accordance with the Architectural construction drawings.
To notify the consultants if there is any discrepancy on the drawings and obtain official confirmation from the consultants.
To resolve daily technical site issues with construction manager and contractor.
Any other duties as instructed by Management.

Requirement:
Candidate must posses at least Bachelor Degree or Master in Architecture
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field.
Full knowledge of product/ materials and equipment to be used in construction,
Familiar with JKR Standard and SPB.
Have experience in handling projects with JKR, including bus station and market is an advantage
Good knowledge in construction and specifications.
Required skill(s): Ms Office, AutoCad, Power Point, Microsoft Project. Knowledge of Revit is an advantage
Good knowledge of project management and able to conduct site meeting.
Good command in both written and verbal English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Dedicated and able to work independently, and a team player.
