Responsibility: Marine Operations, Audits and Inspections · Oversee Oil Major Vetting Inspections arranged by Ship Managers. · Oversee Oil Major Vetting Inspections preparation and report status to owners. · Follow up closure of deficiencies noted during vessel attendance. · Review investigation and root cause analysis of accidents / incidents. · Point of contact of Owner’s side for any operational, navigational, pollution matters. HSEQ related matters · Review implementation of Corrective Actions in the fleet. · Participate table top exercises and emergency drills. · Follow up to closure of all Port State Control observations. · Assist in reviewing all safety-related reports from the vessels and other similar reports from other sources. · Off-hire records Requirements · Previous experience as Master for a minimum of 8 months on gas tankers · A proven track record as Superintendent in managing gas tankers for a minimum of 1 year in a shore-based Shipping Company will have an advantage. · Skilled in communication, analysis, problem solving and computer literacy; · Good team player, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines; · Good command of oral and written English. · Ability to respond positively to customers in an effective manner;
