Senior R&d Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities

• Spec in for new products and improved existing products according to customer requirement in order get new business and achieve preset new product themes

• Go for business trip in order to get customer / market information, discuss/ troubleshoot on customers’ issue, promotes product line up.

• Make scenario and strategy for new customer and existing customer.

• Create activity and theme list for each theme/customer to monitor the ongoing activities and plan further actions required.

• Meeting with customer and group members to follow up on evaluation progress and results.

• Propose, receive and monitor FOC sample sending to customer for evaluation and qualification.

• Propose “Design Review” and attend trial mass production for new product/ new product transfer.



Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pure Chemistry or in any Engineering field (Material, Mechanical).

• Preferably Senior Executive with at least 3 Year(s) of working experiences in Semiconductor Industry.

• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia & English. Japanese speaking candidate will be an added advantage

• Required Skill(s): Positive attitude, love to meet and deal with people, willing to go for business trips frequently, work in labs for log hours, pleasant personality, have deep interest in research work, able to attend/ conduct meeting/ presentation with / to customers, able to conduct multi-tasking, good stress management and reporting skills.
