Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and systems to identify potential problems.

· Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.

· Schedule and carry out maintenance activities according to established maintenance plans.

· Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic equipment failures.

· Troubleshoot issues using various tools and techniques to determine the root cause.

· Replace faulty components, parts, or systems as needed.

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.

· Update equipment manuals, schematics, and documentation as necessary.

· Provide reports on equipment performance and maintenance metrics.

· Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.

· Participate in safety training and promote a culture of safety within the organization.

· Identify and address safety hazards in the workplace.

· Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in maintenance procedures.

· Collaborate with other teams, such as production or engineering, to implement improvements.

· Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.

· Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergencies promptly to minimize downtime.

· Develop contingency plans and strategies for critical equipment failures.

· Maintain an inventory of spare parts and necessary supplies to support maintenance activities.

· Order replacement parts and maintain relationships with suppliers.

· Duties are subject to change and will increase over time based on the specific needs and circumstances of the company.

Qualifications:

Ø Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.

Ø Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.

Ø Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems.

Ø Familiarity with maintenance software, tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Ø Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ø Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ø Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ø Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.

Maintenance Engineers play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and longevity of equipment, contributing to the overall success of an organization. They are expected to work efficiently, maintain high safety standards, and adapt to evolving technologies and industry practices.

Salary: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
