Job Responsibility

GENERAL MISSION

Project Setup Executive may require a person to work independently with the owner to perform individual tasks related to an issue with engineering, design and decorating, marketing, distribution, reservation management, or IT development.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS

Build relationships between project stakeholders to facilitate effective communications and outcomes.
Work together with the design team and site delivery team performance of delegated responsibilities.
Establish an effective and universal strategy to address major issues that may arise with the site delivery team
Ensure the supervision team and site delivery team receives the necessary stakeholder decisions in a timely fashion.
Establish a mechanism to ensure collaborative problem solving with the site delivery team, which will involve regular dialogue with contractors, team working, and risk-sharing.
Chair and lead progress meetings with the contractor and supervision consultant to pro-actively manage the project and mitigate any delivery issues prior to it impacting delivery. Define and implement criteria for control and management of the project
Prepare project execution plan, review content & budget, and take ultimate responsibility for content prior to issue on the project.
Monitor and oversee progress status updates of the master program and where necessary liaise with project stakeholders to lead delay mitigation strategies and improvement initiatives.
Ensure effective budget control is in place across the project, and that such is reviewed and updated on a minimum monthly basis.
Conduct periodic inspections of the property to ensure compliance with brand standards and the proper upkeep of the property.
Provide a professional, advisory, and executive support service to the Head – Senior Operation Manager and Senior Operation Manager to assist in meeting the strategic goals of the establishment.
Ensure compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace and Comply with all Corporate and Company Standards and Procedures.
Actively promote a work environment, which cares for guests and associates alike.
To provide support to Front Office Team as when needed when no new project taking place.

Do internal audits and room/properties inspections.

With your counterparts and the EC – you rely on them so you must be able to work with them.
With Marketing & revenue team, divisional staff, and corporate staff.
Effectively relate to all different types of people.
Understand individual styles and needs and then respond in ways that best meet those needs.

Manage projects

Set goals.
Create alignment within the team.
Plan (e.g., timelines, operational needs, costs, quality).
Manage investments (capitol projects).

Analyze data and information

Understand how to evaluate and interpret data.
Do root cause analysis analyze financial statements / P&L.
Analyze contracts to determine long-term ramifications and financial impact, and whether it is a sound decision.
Look for trends in guest feedback with an eye toward improving quality and the guest experience.

Manage systems and processes

Expense management, cost controls
Process management
Payroll management – strong understanding of how to control expenses, productivity, etc.
Emergency management skills – stay calm in crisis, make fact-based decisions rather than emotional, be proactive/prepared for crisis, can make quick decisions.
Project management.

Job Requirements

Minimum Diploma or higher.
Fluent in English
Preferably with an outspoken personality.
1 year experience in Procurement
Detail Oriented
Computer Literate
Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply too.
