Full Job Description

1.To plan, order and execute material requirement to ensure flawless of supply chain to meet the production planning and inventory level target by especially working closely with planner and sales department.
2.To inquire, source ( local and overseas ) supplier for new or existing material alternatives for better cost, quality or when production and R&D called upon.
3.Able to negotiate with suppliers in providing prompt supply, good after sales services, favorable terms & conditions to the company.
4.To prepare periodic reports and update records on purchase, cost analysis, stock level etc.
5.To supervise, ,manage and maintain supplier direct report performance and supplier evaluation.
6.To prepare and raise P/O approval.
7.To continuously monitor supplier delivery performance i.e on time delivery to avoid material shortages.
8.To highlight and manage excess / obsolete material accordingly.
9.To manage BOM ( bill of material ) and ensure all information are update and accurate.
10.To practice Just In Time System.
11.To work closely with manager to ensure all related issues are resolved timely.
12.To record all raw materials received into EMAS system.
13. Complete vendors DO, INV in system and filing.
14. Keying indirect material into system and filing after let ac to check.
15. Keying and calculate WIP value every month.
16. Stock count every month. Need to make sure all stock are tally with system. (need to find out the variance reason)
