lhandal Energy Solutions Sdn Bhd was founded in 2009 to assist individuals and organizations to leverage their energy resources through innovative, economical and sustainable engineering solutions. The unique name has an interesting meaning behind it. The “i” stands for innovation and “handal” means an expert in the Bahasa Malaysia language. This combines to form “Experts in Innovation”. Since its conception, a variety of technologies have been adapted for the regional market that does our goal justice in the space of thermodynamics and heat transfer.

In this day and age, engineering firms have been highly regimented, limiting creativity and the birth of new ideas and applications of engineering solutions. Through a culture and value driven organization, Ihandal is building a team unlike any other, who are not only passionate about saving the world, but are also driven to make it happen.

We are working towards our ultimate aim of helping our clients reduce in totality 200,000,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually through our efforts in 10 years. 200,000,000 tonnes of CO2 is equivalent to the annual emissions from 42,100,000 passenger vehicles or absorption of 1,639,344,000 acres of forests in a year. As at 2015, we are currently reducing 51,374 tonnes of CO2 annually by our efforts to date, which is equivalent to the annual absorption of 42,114 acres of forests or the annual emissions of 10,817 passenger vehicles.

In order to make our goal a reality and to take steps to make a sizable contribution to saving the world, we believe having a team that is committed to living a set of values is key to our success in bringing alignment to the organization. Ihandal is also committed in investing a minimum of 10% of its profits annually in its team and community through outreach programs, community efforts, learning opportunities and more.
