Anbound is one of the most renowned think tanks for public policy in China. Anbound’s research findings are widely recognised and create a deep interest within domestic and foreign public media as well as academics and experts who are working for the State Council of China and the U.S. Department of State. Since 1993, Anbound has been serving 5,000 institutional clients in China, including the State Council, central and local governments, state-owned enterprises, Global Top 500 companies such as MICROSOFT, GE and CITI, as well as two-thirds of the financial institutions located in China. Anbound has over 500 employees working from seven branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Urumqi and Hong Kong, and three holding subsidiaries in Changchun, Chengdu and Wuhan.

Anbound Research Centre (Malaysia) is located in Kuala Lumpur. The Centre focuses primarily on China & ASEAN economic policy analysis. Anbound’s Malaysian Research Initiative has received great support and encouragement from the government of Malaysia. With solid assistance from the Prime Minister’s Department and the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) of Malaysia, Anbound has established close research partnerships with top Malaysian think tanks and research institutions.
