JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees and manage the entire Account Department including staff hiring and reviewing staff performance for confirmation and promotion.
Reviews and prepares monthly full financial reports (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Bank Reconciliation).
Reviews and verify Balance Sheet and Income Statement for each property.
Reviews and ensures accuracy of all general ledger information.
Reviews and ensures that all owners and suppliers information is up to date and correct.
Assists in the preparation of quarterly and annual recoverable charges reconciliation.
Reviews and prepares management reports, including budget, insurance and quit rent information and calculations.
Reviews and ensures reports/documents are forwarded to auditors and maintains applicable documentation.
Informs management as to any discrepancies or any other problem areas that may exist that arise from the audit.
Meets Account Department calendar deadlines.
Assists with the preparation of annual budget if needed.
Other related duties may be assigned when required.
Improves process related to above duties and responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Candidate must possess at least a LCCI, Diploma / Degree in accounts or equivalent.
Property Management industry experience preferred.
Working knowledge of financial reporting and Act 757 - Strata Management Act 2013.
Computer literate with accounting software, eg. UBS, SQL & CSS etc
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin will be added advantage.
