LONGi is a world leading supplier of solar photovoltaic solutions, headquartered at Xi’an, China.

The increasing demand and promising future prospects for solar energy inspired LONGi to expand internationally. LONGi’s confidence in Malaysia resulted in the setting up of its first overseas manufacturing facility in Sarawak in year 2016, established at Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone, Kuching.

Throughout rapidly expanding production capacity, LONGi in Malaysia has seen a steady growth in the organization from 570 employees in year 2016 to 2959 employees in year 2021, of which 99.9% are Malaysians. The target total number of employees in 2022 is 5,000.
