Chen & Co. was co-founded in 1963 by Mr. Chen Kit Lin @ Mr. Chen Keat Lim. We are a certified full-service accounting, tax, and financial advisory firm of qualified accountants in Malaysia. Our main services include tax consultations, tax compliance, tax agent, bookkeeping, tax audit, and tax investigation. We are also specialized in providing efficient accountancy and business solutions to ensure legal compliance for more complex businesses and tax advisory matters along your other needs. Chen & Co. works with a range of business clients including startup firms, small to medium-sized businesses, and multi-national enterprises across a range of industries. Today, Chen & Co. is led by Mr. Chen Kian Yew, our Managing Director, who has more than 20 years of professional experience in this field. Mr. Chen Kian Yew graduated from Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia with a Bachelor of Accounting in 2001. Besides managing Chen & Co., Mr. Chen is also a fellow at CPA Australia, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM), and a tax agent under Section 153(3) of the Income Tax Act 1967. In the past, Chen & Co. initiated the use of technology to revolutionize the accounting profession by developing new software to help streamline and digitalize corporate processes in Malaysia. We have provided advisory and tax compliance services to various local industries such as SME Corporation Malaysia, multinational companies in Malaysia, and other government-linked companies (GLC).
