Previous work experience as a Fitness Trainer or similar role
Knowledge of diverse exercises and how to adjust plans according to each client's needs
Ability to instruct and motivate people
Excellent communication skills
Teamwork
Available to work on early or late shifts and on weekends
Proven experience of CPR and First Aid
High School Diploma degree in Kinesiology or Sports Science is a plus
On the Job Training will be provided
You will assess the physical and health conditions of clients, create appropriate exercise plans, and monitor their improvement. You will also explain applicable safety rules and regulations (e.g. use of equipment).
Ultimately, you will help our clients have fun and improve their health through exercise.
Design and direct workout programs that are tailored to the member's needs and goals, teach small group classes, demonstrate the use of gym equipment, observe the member as he/she exercises and correct any improper techniques, maintain equipment, administer first-aid if necessary and, in some cases, advise the member in improving lifestyle and diet choices.
Be good communicators and attentive towards members' needs, being willing and able to adjust workout programs and follow through their requests and present self professionally.
