In addition to developing internationally recognized research, excellent teaching ability is also expected of the successful candidate. The candidate is expected to teach both general and advanced undergraduate courses, as well as graduate courses in biology. Experience in mentoring graduate students and supervising research projects is highly valued.
The candidates are expected to have adept collaboration and leadership capabilities (particularly critical for those being considered for Associate or Full Professor position), to be willing to work synergistically and establish collaboration with SBS colleagues, as well as to collaborate with other researchers within and outside the institution.
