The appointee(s) will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality IT services. Duties include (a) supporting hybrid events, administering servers, networks, IT facilities, and access control systems; (b) updating departmental website; (c) managing projects to improve information security; and (d) performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Occasional duties outside normal office hours may be required.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent; OR an Associate Degree or Higher Diploma in IT disciplines or equivalent plus 2 years’ relevant work experience; (ii) excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with users and the University’s Information Technology Services Centre; (iii) the ability to stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices; and (iv) a passion in identifying business problems and proposing effective solutions. Fresh graduates will also be considered.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
