Junior Data Warehouse Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and operation of databases and data warehouse systems.
• Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and data integration processes.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.
• Monitor data quality and ensure data is accurate and available for business use.
• Troubleshoot database and data-related issues.
• Support reporting, analytics, and AI-related projects by preparing and managing data.
• Work with internal teams to understand data requirements and provide technical support.
• Prepare and maintain system and technical documentation.
• Participate in system improvements and enhancement projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of databases and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience using SQL for data queries and analysis.
• Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, or data pipelines.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms or data warehouse technologies.
• Knowledge of data pipeline tools such as Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Informatica, or similar tools.
• Exposure to analytics, reporting, or AI-related projects will be an advantage.
