Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Design & Calculations) to join our engineering team. The role focuses on mechanical design calculations and engineering support for semiconductor cleanroom and advanced manufacturing projects.

This position offers a 5-day work week, with office-based design work and site support as required.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Design & Calculations

• Perform mechanical design calculations including:
• HVAC cooling and heating load calculations
• Airflow, ACH, pressure balance, and FFU sizing
• Chilled water flow, pipe sizing, velocity, and pressure drop
• Pump head and motor power calculations
• Prepare Basis of Design (BOD), calculation reports, and technical documentation

Cleanroom & Semiconductor Systems

• Support design of ISO Class 7 / 8 (Class 10K / 100K) cleanrooms
• Design and coordination of FFU, fan wall, dry coil, MAU, return air, and exhaust systems
• Integrate tool heat loads with HVAC systems

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with BIM / CAD teams and other engineering disciplines
• Review vendor technical submissions and shop drawings
• Provide engineering support during construction and testing & commissioning

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• 0–3 years experience in HVAC / MEP / cleanroom design
• Semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing experience is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Strong capability in engineering calculations
• Proficient in Excel for design calculations
• CFD (ANSYS ) experience is an advantage

• Detail-oriented with good communication skills
