  • Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Prepare detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project work programmes, and resource-loaded schedules.
  • Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays, risks, and critical activities.
  • Update weekly and monthly progress reports, including schedule updates, progress analysis, and recovery plans where required.
  • Track project milestones and ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project deliverables.
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and project control activities.
  • Review contractors' work programmes and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in Extension of Time (EOT) assessments, delay analysis, and preparation of supporting documentation when required.
  • Attend project progress meetings and present programme updates to management, clients, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure project planning, monitoring, and reporting are carried out in accordance with JKR requirements, project specifications, and contractual obligations.
  • Assist Tender Team for preparation of Work Program for tender purposes.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project planning and scheduling for civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, including preparation of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), baseline schedules, progress updating, critical path analysis, and project reporting.
  • Familiar with JKR project implementation procedures, progress monitoring requirements, and contract administration.
  • Experience in preparing, reviewing, updating, and presenting construction work programmes for JKR projects.
  • Experience in presenting and defending project work programmes during JKR progress meetings and technical discussions will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of EOT assessments, delay analysis, and mitigation planning.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and coordinate effectively with project stakeholders.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
