Job Summary

The Technical Assistant (R&D – IT) is responsible for IT asset support, maintenance, user assistance, documentation, and endpoint management. This position involves both technical troubleshooting and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops and IT peripherals.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory with proper tagging.
• Prepare and manage endpoint support documentation, renewals and subscriptions.
• Respond to and resolve user tickets related to hardware, software and access issues.
• Log and escalate incidents according to escalation procedures.
• Provide on‑site support for hardware issues and upgrades.
• Assist in asset disposal processes in compliance with company policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for service desk operations.
• Perform additional duties when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or Computer Science.
• Strong troubleshooting and endpoint management skills.
• Familiar with asset management procedures.
• Customer‑service oriented.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
